WMF Art Nouveau Jugendstil Silver Plate Casket Box
A great WMF silver plated Art Nouveau or Jugendstil box, dating to circa 1910, in almost a Medieval style. The interior is wood lined with gilded lid and it has stamped makers marks to the base. Originally for cigarettes it makes a great jewellery box now!. In good condition, commensurate with age, it has been sympathetically re-plated and looks stunning. It measures 12.5cm wide, 9cm deep and 8.5cm tall. The price includes U.K. postage.
