Shapland & Petter Arts Crafts Dressing Table
A lovely golden oak Arts & Crafts dressing table, dating to circa 1900, by Shapland and Petter of Barnstaple. It is unmarked but I believe by them given the stylistic similarities. Made of quality solid timbers it has two short over one long drawer to the base, with a frieze drawer to the upper section, and stands on square pad feet. A great design with pierced Yin-Yang decoration to the uprights and heavy brass handles it is in good condition, commensurate with age, with good colour. There are some light markings to the top but nothing noticeable. It measures 164.5cm tall, 121cm wide and 54cm deep.
