Set of 4 J. F. Pool Arts & Crafts Photo Frames
A rare set of 4 Arts & Crafts hand made copper photo frames, dating to circa 1900-1910, made by J. F. Pool of Hayle, Cornwall. I have had a pair of frames by Pool before, but never a matching set of 4. They came via another dealer from a house clearance where they must have been for over 100 years. Unmarked, save for two stamped Hand Made to the back they are a great design and unmistakably re by Pool. Offered in good condition, commensurate with age, with minor markings they still have what appears to be the original glass. One of the struts has a couple of kinks but overall they are very good. Each measures 24.5cm tall with a maximum width of 19cm at the foot. The price includes UK postage.
