Newton Class Arts & Crafts 16" Copper Charger

Newton Class Arts & Crafts 16" Copper Charger
A great Arts & Crafts copper charger, dating to circa 1900, unmarked but almost certainly made at the Newton Class in Cambridgeshire. The central section is decorated with entwined flowers surrounding an England rose, whilst the border includes roses for England, thistles for Scotland and shamrocks for Ireland. Worked on a heavy gauge of copper this is a great piece and is in good condition, commensurate with age, with crisp detail and only minor markings. Measuring 41cm or 16 inches in diameter it is a substantial size. The price includes UK postage.
