Hugh Wallis Arts & Crafts Copper Dish Snowdrops
A Hugh Wallis circular copper dish, dating to circa 1920-40, with inlaid pewter decoration of Snowdrops to the centre and a dot and dash border. Hugh Wallis had a workshop in Altringham, Cheshire, from 1900-1940 and produced copper worked with pewter inlays, predominantly floral studies. Retaining its original oxidised finish, lacquer and applied pewter this dish is offered in pretty good condition, commensurate with age. There are some markings to the finish but overall it displays well. One of a collection of Hugh Wallis pieces I am currently listing. It measures 19cm in diameter. The price includes Uk postage.
