Cotswold School Steel Fire Irons Companion Set
A lovely Arts & Crafts wrought steel companion set, dating to the early 20th Century, Cotswold School in style but equally similar to work produced by Archibald Carne in Truro, Cornwall. It comprises a stand and four implements - poker, brush, shovel and tongs. They are good quality, well-made, and have great detail but are unsigned. The stand is 52cm tall, with the implements varying from 40-45cm. Overall the set is in good condition, commensurate with age, with the usual signs of use. The shovel has some wear to the forward edge but not noticeable and does not impede its use. The price includes UK postage.
