Arts & Crafts Oak & Brass Stick Umbrella Stand
A great Arts & Crafts oak stick or umbrella stand, dating to circa 1910, with brass tube sections to hold the sticks and umbrellas and a lift out metal drip tray. Constructed of well-coloured and substantial quarter sawn oak with pierced sides and trefoil decoration to the back it is an attractive piece, surmounted by a pierced and scrolled top rail. Offered in good condition, commensurate with age, there are some light markings to the top, a (pretty much invisible) repaired split to the pierced detail of the top rail and some wear to the lift out drip tray. None of which is really noticeable in an object that has fulfilled it's intended use for over 100 years!. It measures 125.5cm tall, 61cm wide and 23.5cm deep.
