Arts & Crafts Glasgow Style Inlaid Oak Fire Screen
A wonderful Arts & Crafts inlaid oak fire screen, dating to circa 1900, inlaid with an Art Nouveau style depiction of an Arum lily. The main frame is limed oak with the central oak panel inlaid with the vibrant flower. Offered in good condition, commensurate with age, a couple of the inlaid sections have slightly lifted but not noticeable. The colours of the different inlaid timbers are so vibrant it is a lovely thing! It measures 78.5cm tall and 37cm wide, with a depth of 21cm at the foot. Please contact me for a delivery price.
