Arts & Crafts Domed Leather Box Norse Birds
A fabulous Arts & Crafts embossed leather box, dating to circa 1910-1920, decorated in relief with birds / beasts and foliate scrolls. Offered in reasonable condition, commensurate with age, there are some marks to the leather, a couple of small decorative pins are missing and the inside to the lid has a disguised repair at the hinge. This repair is not visible externally. See photographs. Given its age it does display well. There is no key. Overall it measures 30.5cm wide, 23.5cm deep and 18.5cm tall.
