Arts & Crafts Copper Planter With Pine Cones
A fabulous Arts & Crafts copper planter, dating to circa 1900, probably manufactured in Birmingham by William Soutter & Sons. It is decorated with a band of pine cones (or inverted hearts?) above 3 bold hammered loop feet. There are scratch marks to the base but no makers stamp, although I have seen similar shaped feet on pieces manufactured by William Soutter before, hence the attribution. It is offered in good condition, commensurate with age, and measures 18cm tall and 19cm max diameter at the feet. The price includes UK postage.
