A great Arthur Simpson of Kendal Arts & Crafts carved oak and opaque glass fire screen, dating to circa 1910, carved with Celtic strap work. Whilst unmarked it is definitely from his workshops, having the typical crisply carved panel and also the indents to the bottom rail. Offered in good condition, commensurate with age, with only minor signs of wear, it measures 76.5cm tall, 65cm wide and 27.5cm deep at the foot.
