Art Nouveau Georg Hulbe Leather Bin or Stick Stand
A rather nice German Art Nouveau leather waste paper basket or stick stand ( used for both purposes), dating to circa 1910, and manufactured by Georg Hulbe in Hamburg. An attractive thing, embossed with grapes and leaves, it is offered in fair condition, commensurate with usage, with some rubbing and surface losses to the leather. It is still quite a rare item though! Slightly oval in cross profile it measures 40.5cm tall and 23cm wide. The price includes UK postage.
