Arts & Crafts Signed Copper Planter Sunflowers
A lovely Arts & Crafts copper planter, dating to circa 1900, with circular top and hexagonal body both decorated with sunflowers. Monogrammed B R or P R to the side. I'm not sure who these initials were for but it's a great design, somewhat reminiscent of an upside down Welsh Hat!. There are 3 sunflowers to the top and alternating plain and sunflowers panels to the body. Offered in pretty good condition, commensurate with age, there is some light rubbing and there are gaps between the some of the hexagonal panels. It is strong and sturdy but not waterproof. It measures 16.2cm tall, 34cm diameter across the top and a maximum of 15.7cm across the opening. The price includes UK postage.
